I agree with you, I would much rather be able to pick every option individually.
Looking at prices from the UK and Belgian configurators as well as the option/price listing for Canada and the US, it is not straightforward to correlate prices because options seem to be priced very differently depending on the country. However, it does not seem we are getting any sort of "rebate" through the packages. BMW only "forces" us to bundle options and charges us with the big bucks
