I have never seen a reference of Sport Cups when they were talking/writing about this 8:05 lap done by Sport Auto (Horst von Saurma).

All M3s (until 2009?) with 19" wheels came in Germany (and EU) standard with the Semi-tyre Michelin Sport Cup+ ... specially developed for the E9xM3.
Only with the standard 18" wheels you got PS2s !!!
