Question 2015 F80 wheel and tire recommendations for city driving

Fine folks - I have a 2015 F80 M3 sedan with less than 15k miles that is becoming a more active city driving car (mostly in NYC and PHL) and will also do significant highway driving between CT and PA.

I'm on the stock 20" wheels and tires with carbon ceramic brakes and the car is, predictably, not comfortable at all in pothole ridden city driving and atrocious in bad weather, especially snow.

I'm looking for an all-weather wheel/tire recommendation that can work to (1) make the ride smoother for this driving profile and (2) handle inclement weather better (I don't intend to do real snow driving but want to be able to get back home in light/medium snow).

I read elsewhere on the forum that folks recommended the Conti Extremecontact DWS06 Plus on 19" wheels - is that still what folks would recommend? Anything I should think about re the wheels (I don't care that much about looks, trying to minimize cost there).

Thanks all.
