Took my oil cap off and that internal cage and gasket was completely missing. I went down to the shop and showed them a photo of mine vs a replacement...they claimed they "ripped everything out of the dumpster and couldn't find that part" and went on to say "it wouldn't have damaged your engine" by not having it. Furthermore "someone would have figured it out and replaced it before your engine even suffered damage. " the manager went on to say the new hire changed my oil and might have made a mistake. Lastly the manager claims that part was never in my oil cap to begin with.... smh...
I'll be ordering myself tonight
