I dont understand why everyone thinks they will cause damage to the DCT transmission by parking it in gear. If your car cant handle to sit still with the weight of the car held by the transmission, how the hell can your transmission handle 400+ lb/ft of torque on every component in it?
Also... if you clamp your ebrake on the rotor after driving, how do you think the rotor cools? unevenly thats how. That can lead to warped rotors. So use the transmission park as the vehicle is designed for, and leave the 'parking' brake also known as the emergency brake for emergencies..
