My mistake, I missed the "c". Never seen it written with a decimal point either, FWIW.
In general, I would still say that you should determine whether you would prefer a sedan or coupe, all else being equal, before making a decision. If you ultimately decide that you want a sedan, seek out an E90 now, or wait for the F80. If you instead can live with the coupe for another N years, then buy the E92 or wait for the F82.
As for whether you should buy now or wait, well, I wouldn't consider fuel economy at all since the savings are likely to be a small fraction (5% or so, I'd guess) of what you are spending overall. It comes down to what matters most to you - having the S65 or having the latest model with the latest features and technology.
