Nowhere does it say it will reduce weight over the CF version... it says it was designed so the performance of the car remains the same. Yet a few years ago, they made such a big deal about how much better and lighter the CF drive shaft was than steel and how its stiffness allowed improved drivetrain response.

Now, they turn around and say the new steel drive shaft will perform equally to the CF shaft? Did something happen to steel technology over the last three years that tells you this isn't just marketing bullshit?
