this issue with the M4 vs M3 is that the rear fenders of the M3 look way more aggressive. Why is that? Some of you may ask. Well its because BMW didnt want to alter the rear doors specific for the M3. Hence the dramatic FLARE of the M3 vs the smooth flare of the M4. Now consider the M4 Gran Coupe. How in the world would the give it the same flare as the M4 without altering the doors? Another way to word it is, how could they make the rear flared without starting the flare in the doors themselves. Answer is.... they dont want to or according to their financial department. They simply CAN'T. UNLESS they figure out a way to flare the rear after the door. Which wouldnt look right as the standard 3 series and 4 series gran coupes would have much different "lines". Thats why I think and M4 Gran Coupe is out of the question. Anyone Agree?
