It is not completely in proportion in relation from headlights (eye-bags) to the air intakes as it was sketch in a few minutes.
But it is a fairly accurate rendition of the aerodynamics packet for the M4. Some of the details are inherited from the larger M6 , but some are new especially around the lower areas of the aerodynamics.

The appearance is distinctively M. Restrained and understated until you get behind the wheel. The M4 continues the approach taken with the new generation of BMW's to make them more coherent and some of the best-looking cars on the road today.
Proportions of the Coupe give it a very elegant but sport-dynamic that will extend its appeal , especially to those that pine for a 6er and cannot extend financially. Like previous Coupe models it forgoes the removal of the B-Pillar which is a key BMW Coupe feature where structural rigidity has far more importance than clean elegance.

The more sporting profile also lends BMW its opportunity to forge a new niche in the mid-level segment with the 4er Gran Coupe to sit alongside the 4er Coupe and Cabrio. Again like the larger 6er Gran Coupe, the 4er Gran Coupe aims to mate the benefits of four doors with the style, pace, dynamics and efficiency of the 4er Coupe.
Add further dynamic proficiency , precision and high performance for the flagship M4 Gran Coupe.
