DCT always has certain characteristics that you look for. What your experiencing is very normal. More so for the F80/F82 since M-DCT behaves and acts like a manual car. DCT is always clunky at low gears, no professional reviewers really mentions this but this is normal.

You just have to get used to it. I am. If you drive more DCT cars you can pick out little things about a double clutch transmission. No matter how good a DCT is like the Porsche PDK, you can tell it is a DCT car with how it behaves.

It's worse on some cars like the Benz. Or more noticeable like M-DCT since BMW designed it for you to notice the car doing things.

1-2 is normal. Car needs to warm up. 3 is you accidentally don't touched the manual shifter and moved it to Sequential.
