NOW THE JOURNEY BEGINS..
Fast Forward to present day and the itinerary is now final, plane tickets are in hand from all over the country, and the last of the paperwork required has been completed by 22 lucky members of BIMMERPOST.com who have survived the gauntlet of planning and fierce competition for early allocations slots to end up as official participants for this once in a lifetime VIP Delivery Experience like nothing ever seen before. This trip is all about the driving experience and nothing else. All of our members were told early on that if you are wanting to spend 3 hours for a castle tour then this not your trip. Lets quickly pile on the break in mileage and get to the fun.
Beginning today June 17th through Saturday June 28th, a collective set of experiences that individually would satisfy any BMW aficionado will become a reality. Ultimately it would be a huge ongoing team effort between BMWNA ED Department, BMW AG Welt, BIMMERPOST, Dealers, Trip Sponsors, Owners, German Suppliers, A Celebrity, and a well oiled group of organizers pulling all the impossible logistics together as a 100% BMW Enthusiast originated and led effort. I would like to give major credit to Forum members Karussell, and SoccerDad who quickly came on board and believed in this idea with me and whom the final outcome would have been impossible. In addition the support of our ED group members getting involved to help out whenever possible was also greatly appreciated.
We are equally thrilled to be joined and fully supported in our planning team by
BIMMERPOST Editors Jason, Dackelone, and Southlight who have been invaluable to set us up with contacts, resources, and custom event T-Shirts that will premiere on Welt Delivery Day June 23rd. BIMMERPOST will be joining us for the entire trip bringing you official daily reports, pictures, videos, and reactions as 22 M cars venture out across hallowed ground in a five country epic journey that will undoubtedly reaffirm why we are so passionate about the M Brand.

If you have any special requests, comparisons, or anything else you would like to see or hear feedback during our journey please let us know in this thread and will see what we can do! While our overnight accommodations will not be publicly revealed for safety and privacy of our members until just after event, lets just say it involves German Castles, Villas, Beer Gardens, and High Alpine Pass 360 Degree views with nightly group parties.

Welt Delivery Day - Monday June 23rd from 8am to 12pm. Join us at the Welt and catch the party with us.

Spa-Francorchamps: Closing events / Photoshoot Tue June 24th from 5pm to 8:30pm. Come check out the live action, hot laps by Sabine, and watch the Photoshoot live. We will reserve time toward the end for a meet and greet with attendees and to check out the cars. We are still waiting on confirmation to allow Pit Access with Food/Beverage to guests. Price and info will follow prior to Tuesday so check back here on thread. Otherwise the Grandstands are free
Please note that unfortunately due to the large group size we already have at 22 cars (not counting press cars) we will not have opportunities for guest to join the caravans or driving tours.

FINAL ITINERARY OVERVIEW
June 17th - June 20th - Team Karussell is off to the races
Our very own Group German Motorsports Events lead
"Karusell" set out today for the journey across the Pond to represent our ED group as a competitor with his private BMW Racing team in the upcoming Superbowl of motorsports event -
The 2014 ADAC Zurich 24 hours of Nurburgring. Race preparations and qualifiers will occur and ED Group organizers will follow behind on Thursday to join the rest of the team.
June 21st - June 22nd - BMW M Festival - Race Weekend
24 hours. 190 teams. 800 race drivers. Over 230,000 fans. We guarantee more than your share of breathtaking moments at the 42nd racetrack classic in the "Green Hell". The spirit of competition paired with the ultimate in endurance and teamwork grabs each fan at the starting line. 24h of pure adrenaline awaits our Group ED members who will enjoy all access VIP passes to be in the Driver Pits and M Festival events from Friday through Sunday.

June 23rd - Welt Delivery Day - Romantic Road Break in Drive to Belgium / Dinner with Sabine Schmitz
Our group will be the first ever to take delivery of the most highly anticipated M Car ever made, The all new F80-F82. We have a morning of special group ED experiences planned with individual VIP delivery for each of our group members waiting for us at the Welt. The party like atmosphere will be covered by
BIMMERPOST Editors, Dackelone and Southlight who will join us live at the Welt to capture all the reactions, pictures, and video to bring the exciting moments to you. Some other unexpected surprises may surface so you will just have to check back each day to see what happened on our visit! Upon Conclusion we will head south on the Romantic Road and West up to Belgium to arrive for our first night at Spa-Francorchamps for a very special dinner guest commonly known as the "Queen of the Ring" Sabine Schmitz. Sabine will be personally hosting a number of events for us.
June 24th- M Driver Experience at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
M Driver Camp:
The good folks at RSR Racing have created a special private event for our group at the famed Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. We will have a full day of events including comprehensive instruction in safety, handling, and performance driving in a controlled environment with individual one on one instruction. The day will include three private garages and all day catering. While our effort will be somewhat restrained to keep us honest with break in guidelines and comfort levels we will have fully broken in track ready vehicles at our disposal to rip into the track with all that we have learned.
Hot Laps with Sabine:
A major highlight of the day will be the Hot Laps available to our Group ED Members in a GT3 Porsche Race Car owned and driven by Sabine Schmitz herself. Yes you read that right! We will be sure to have a video and interview with Sabine of this experience featured on BIMMERPOST to share with you!!
The Grand Finale at Spa - F Generation Photoshoot
At the end of day the track was shutdown to stage an Amazing picture of a lifetime. Our Cars were lined up in one of the most famous spots in all of racing- La Rouge. Professional Photographers were on hand along with Media, car clubs, or anyone interested to be invited to view (from grandstands) the shoot and catch the closing action featuring laps by Sabine.
June 25th - RSR Luncheon - Eiffel Road Tour - Nurburgring Experience
The Motorsports theme continues with a day of private tours, driving instruction, and the opportunity to experience the Nurburgring with a Professional driver/instructor as we learn the basics to mastering the Green Hell. A private lunch at The Pistenklause Restaurant hosted by Sabine's Family Hotel will be followed by a 3 hour Eiffel Road / Nurburgring Road tour. We start by leaving the village of Nrburg and driving the old and long forgotten Sudschleife. Then we continue via twisty and perfectly surfaced roads (often used as tarmac rally stages) alongside the Nordschleife with stops at Hatzenbach, Hocheichen, Wehrseifen, Breidscheid, Ex-Mhle, Bergwerk, Hohe Acht, Brnnchen and Pflanzgarten. On each location we will learn about the ideal line, the history, the issues of safety and how best to drive on a public day. We also pass by some of the (often secret) manufacturer testing facilities for the Nurburgring, ending the tour with a drive out on our favourite twisty roads surrounding the ring leading back to RSR HQ. Upon arrival we will meet our instructors and hop in the car with them for our first lap at the Ring and free time to tour until nightfall. In the evening we are honored and have been extended an invitation to Join Sabine back in her homestead ranch in the Longhorn Saloon where she will personally be cooking us dinner and offer some personal experiences in her career.
June 26-27th - BIMMERPOST TWO DAY LEGENDARY ROADS F8X DRIVING TOUR
What European Delivery experience would be complete without an epic Journey through some of the best driving roads in the World.
Bimmerpost German Editor Dackelone will provide us with his expertise and local knowledge to plan a route for us over two amazing days including setting us up with accommodations in Italy. The route will feature roads and stops in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen to visit the Porsche Museum, drives along sections of the Romantic Road, German Alpine road, Black Forest, Stelvio Pass, lesser known alpine routes tested by Dackelone, and a grand finale with the German version of the Tail of the Dragon. All total we will cover Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and back into Germany that will undoubtedly provide a great backdrop for the Ultimate Driving Tour. Our day will end with a Closing Ceremonies Dinner to say our goodbyes and relive the experiences over the past week.
June 28th - Vehicle Drop-Off and Head Home
Munich drop-off Facility has graciously given our group a private scheduled drop-off for all of our group members leaving on this day. A few of us will continue on our vacation and look forward to a fast delivery to get all of our cars home quickly to enjoy them on our home turf. We look forward to meeting many of you back in the states at events all around the country to share our experience!
