Another generation without an M3 sedan is going to be sad to see, but the idea of a "3 series Gran Coupe" sounds very intriguing indeed, especially in M form. And actually, this would be a great excuse to finally enlist the "4 series" nameplate, as the 3 series lineup is crowded enough already with four distinct body styles, with a fifth coming in the form of the "3 GT".
Four door M4 Gran Coupe? Yeah, I am thinking that would fit the bill very nicely. That might be enough to make most folks forget all about an M3 sedan...
