Install Guide for the F80 M3 Sedan
Tools Required:
-Philips Screwdriver
-Masking Tape
Step 1:
Make sure that the underside of the vehicle's rocker panel is thoroughly cleaned. If dirt or residue is present, the double-sided tape on the side skirts will not adhere properly.
Step 2:
Prep the double-sided tape on each side skirt. On each end pull off a 1 inch section of the backing paper and apply masking tape to the ends. This will help you grip the 3M tape backing when you go to install it to the side sill.
Step 3:
Place the side skirt up against the vehicle, and make sure that it is properly aligned on all sides with no gaps or protrusions.
Step 4:
With the side skirt positioned, start peeling the backing off of the double-sided adhesive as shown and applying pressure to partially adhere it to the vehicle.
Step 5:
Once the side skirt is fully adhered to the vehicle, the included self-tapping screws must be secured. Use either a philips screwdriver or a screwgun to tighten the screws into the vehicle using the pre-drilled holes in the side skirt as a guide.
Step 6:
Repeat steps 1-5 for the other side of the vehicle.
This completes the installation of the RKP F80 M3 Carbon Fiber Side Skirts.
