So it looks like the M4 is only 25 lbs lighter than the 435i! Very disappointing. And, to Zayken's point that incorrectly refuted, the M4 convertible will probably weight almost as much as the 435i convertible (unless they lightened up the roof, which is highly unlikely).

This is VERY disappointing, as my E93 M3 Convertible weighs about the same amount. I really hope the M4 Convertible doesn't weight 4,100 lbs. That would be a huge disappointment, given their focus on "weight savings"...

This is why I was so disappointed when BMW did not give the F83 a CF folding roof......
Would have thought that using CF is a no brainer to save weight.....
