I respect your opinion but I do not agree with you on some points...Despite the new M5 having a twinturbo V8 engine, new steering system, more weight than the E60 and that cheeky sound enhacer...it proved to be a hell of a car...even better at some points than the E60.
For years BMW was always in the leaders' front row in therms of inovation, evolution...Yes, good or bad, turbocharged engines are the future and by looking at BMW...the majority of the cars will share this kind of technology.
On the other hand I do not agree with BMW's recent approach regarding their //M division...(slapping the //M badge on "almost but not quite" //M cars). Personally when I heared //M I imagined the dark'n'scary part of BMW. But with this approach it kinda softens it...
Oh...and 1 more point: SAVE THE STICK !!
