I think the engine has already been confirmed in the X3M which comes out in a year or two (before the next gen M3) and I thought I read it will be a 3.2L instead of the current N55 3.0L.
The old 3.2L in the M3/M Roadster could get 330 HP without turbos, so it should easily hit 450HP with 2 large turbos (and a hairdryer).
If they bring back the Sedan I will be first in line to buy one, otherwise I have no clue what my next 4 door compact will be (RS4 or next gen C63 I guess).
