Historically, each new gen. m3 outperforms the previous one by a good margin. Lets hope BMW continues this trend. I love S65 engine, especially now, in cold weather(its in 20s F in new york) it performs on another level, much faster. Really feels like a different car. Unfortunately its a lot slower in 70+F. I think naturally aspirated engines benefit a lot from a dense air. And sound is amazing. But ultimately we buy m3 for high performance, so if new m3 is significantly faster, i will probably trade e92 m3 for F80 M3
