BMW is a shadow of its former self. Therefore, brand loyalty should really mean nothing here. Buy the car best suited for your intended purpose.

Personally I would not get a GTR. Since, most of the time, you'll be daily driving. I think for everyday tasks, a true GT car is always better (e.g., going to dinner, dates, etc.)
