Range is a very important factor not to be ignored when it comes to fuel efficiency. Being able to do 400+ miles on a tank, or at least more than 200 in the city really aids the driving experience for me (it's one of the very few faults I have with the current gen).

aoysgelt- the E92 M3 you test drove did not just seem great because you have a 330ci. It still remains the segment leader to this day, it really is a special car.
