20% increase in torsional rigidity and 30% increase in lateral rigidity is a huge increase considering the e90 was quite a nice chassis.
To me, I have "felt" this in the difference between the e90 and f30 driving experience going down the road, being tossed into a turn, and absorbing bumps. Put aside the steering and damping for a moment, the f30 to me felt like a clearly superior chassis itself.
