I received an e-mail from my dealer Thursday morning saying they had received their first M4 by surprise (they did not expect it that soon). I dropped by in the evening to have a look. What a beauty. So far I had only seen AY (M4) and YMD (M3) in real life at the Montreal car show.
The car at my dealer (Canbec) is AW, with the black wheels and black full leather. It has pretty much every option. Absolutely gorgeous. Seeing the black wheel in person again, I changed my mind back to ordering black wheels. They just seem to suit the M4 better (they hide the wheel gap better). They handed me the keys so I fool around with the fucntions. They even allowed me to start the car in the showroom. It sounds much better in person than on videos, the cold start and idle has nothing of the weed whacker sound in videos. Not as nice as the S65 for sure, but still loud and aggressive.
What a nice evening. No I can continue dreaming until my ED in late July
