Is the rear diff in the F10 M5 not always "on"? I know it has an electronic motor back there. I expect the F8x to get some version of the M5 diff.

Yeah, I got 21mpg on my drive back from PDC to Dallas, but I was really trying to go easy on the gas.
Around town, the car feels boring below 5000rpm, so I'm always looking for a reason to goose it higher. That's probably why I never get above 15mpg.
With more torque in the F8x, revving up to 6K shouldn't be as necessary.
