The problem with the Cayman comparison is that if you don't need the space or practicality there are some other serious competitors out there. Not so sure that too many people really cross shop them.
The biggest problem for the Cayman is that it is a Porsche but not a 911. I couldn't live with that.
As a drivers car without the need for practicality the one of the 997 GT3s is the way to go.
