I know this is a Wiki [
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M3], but if we were looking at historical trends, the M3 followed roughly within just 1 year of the 3-series' release in most cases.
It's a good sign that the next M3/M4 should be within release-time over the next 10-11 months based on past trends (I hope so!).
I'm in the market for an M3/M4 but not the E90 version.
