I believe SCOTT26 confirmed that an F30 M3 sedan is not currently in the plans (though that could change of course).
I would look for things to play out as they typically do, and as you had suggested in your post: first the sedan, then the wagon, then the coupe, then the convertible, and then the M models. Keep in mind also that there will be a 3 series GT at some point and there seems to be the strong possibility for a 3 series (4 series?) Gran Coupe as well. So those may throw a wrinkle into the release timeline.
