Hi Chris.. I was told at McLaren that the depth in the paint has to do with some spherical elements that they inject into the paint, instead of metal flakes. So no, I have no idea if BMW will do it.. which makes me sad..
However, I am hoping by some miracle that they will do it, or figure out how to do it.. The depth of the color and the shift in the sunlight is incredible.
