If I see now that a 335i F30 brings the scales at 1590 kg, 1415 kg then come quite close to the already cited frequently ran 200 kg less

A 440 pound saving over the E92M is unbelievable (both literally and figuratively), but would be amazing if true. It's highly unfortunate that any M car would be heavier than its non-M counterpart, as is the case with the E92M, F10M, and others.
I suppose weight savings can come from the use of materials like CFRP, fiberglass, non-CF plastic, and aluminum throughout the panels; ultra high-strength steel throughout the frame; an all-aluminum engine; carbon ceramic brakes; lightweight seats; less sound deadening; fewer luxury options; thinner glass; aluminum suspension components; forged wheels; and a titanium or inconel exhaust. Really, there's no reason why the tires and DCT transmission (6MT is exempt) shouldn't be the only items on the car heavier than their F3X counterparts.
All of a sudden, my interest in the F8X has been reignited.
