The breaks had nothing to do with the recovery but you reminded me that I had to give mine up unless I wanted to wage till October for my car.
Steel aren't gonna have the bite those CCBs did after many laps around the track. Look how much bite they had. It was partially the balance but the brakes are what brought him back.
I'm not sure that the CCB did a difference here

As others have pointed out, the outside wheel hitting the curb is what seems to straighten up the car. I cannot see the brake lights lighten up either until after the car has hit the curb...

But as many posts have thought me here, there usually are more to these things than what I can tell... If the CCB indeed makes a difference, at which point during the video did the increased bite of the CCBs make a difference?
Can't you see when he smashed on the brakes and it whips the car back straight?
