I think you nailed it.

$80k for an M4 is ludicrous. For that amount of money you can get some seriously awesome used metal such as a 997.1 GT3, 997.1 Turbo, 997.2 Carrera S or 4S, CLK63 Black series, Maser Granturismo, or Aston DB9 to name a few.

Anybody spending $80K on a car shouldn't mind paying the maintenance on any of those cars.
