I note the time with interest. In my old 2008 135i coupe that had downpipes and a light tune (probably similar power to the M2 stock), KW V3, and with Dunlop semi slicks 225 all round (wasn’t looking for outright grip) I ran 1:53.54. The M2 was bone stock, only 2 months old and I had the first service done before the track day.
Straight up I found it 1.5s quicker than the 1M and much easier on the limit to explore. The 1M I really had to focus hard to get a fast lap out of it.
A 1.53 in your 135i is impressive.
