You have to pay to play. This is still a steal compared to any Porsche or Maserati product. For 85 to 90K you will get a kick
ass luxury coupe with serious sporting potential. If that is too much, then wait for the M2, which should also be a serious performance machine, but at a better price. Hell, with it's lighter weight it might be even more fun, but I have had money down for several months, and the M4 is where I am going. Plus, with a 4 year warranty on new BMW car, I don't care what happens to it, because in 4 years I am just going to buy something else.
