I enjoyed reading this 3 year old thread today, realizing how wrong some of these posters were about the market perception (and the possible demise?) of the M3 as a result of the introduction of the M4.

I think that today the M3 holds its own and is appealing to an important segment. I think BMW did a great job with this....ultimately proving the OP wrong in so many ways...
