I see a lot of Audi A4 avants in the DC area
So it's not a problem with the body style
Not sure why the BM doesn't sell
I know whenever I see one it always catches my eye
Ok I just checked
Audi is selling roughly 2-3000 a year of the A4 avant and Allroad (basically the same car with plastic fender covers)
So if BMW can justify selling the Z4 which sells in similar numbers, and using custom body parts
Why not a wagon M3?
I can't see a M3 wagon costing more to develop than the grand coupe 3 series monstrosity they are making, so it's not about costs
