Update:
Last Tue I received a local email from dealer informing me that the car had gone into paint process.
Then, on Friday, another email to say that production was complete.
Later that day I then received the next 2 BMW emails: Paint, quickly followed by Production Complete. I'll share the pictures later.
For such a complex vehicle, it is surprising how quickly the build process takes from start to finish.
