Hyundai has just announced its i20 World Rally Championship car, which wears a never before seen "N" graphic. That N signifies Hyundai's newly launched performance sub-brand for their production and racing cars.
Not only does N sound like M, but the color scheme is also curiously similar to the BMW M tri-colors.
Did Hyundai choose this letter simply because it's positioned close to or sounds similar to M? Hyundai says that "N" stands for the Namyang R&D center which developed the i20 rally car and will be responsible for future N branded production cars.
