People are paying to drive an M3 or M4 *today*, not 2 years from now. In this context the new dash is irrelevant because it doesn't exist in an M3.
The new 330i is listed in at some 3500+ lbs, that is very heavy considering the CLAR architecture, and it doesn't match the claimed weight savings.
We'll have to see the reviews for the new M3/M4 when it comes out, then decide if an incremental upgrade is warranted, or perhaps a lateral one (to Porsche) is a better move.
