I bought this used fiberglass GTS/CS hood for cheap so i decided to DIY paint it. I wanted to keep the fenders original. If i return it to stock, the original hood will still match.
Im happy with the DIY results. I would probably bring it to a body shop next time only because it was a PITA doing all the work myself... It was much more work than i expected but i wanted give it a go.
Once you see the car with the GTS/CS hood, the original hood looks bland... I was driving with some friends and we ran into another silverstone M3 with the stock hood. We were side by side or behind eachother for a good amount and everyone said how much nicer the GTS hood looks.
