So it has begun.

This car will no doubt be vastly improved over the predecessor (the IS-F I mean - it remains to be seen if Lexus will continue to offer a F sedan now that they have a coupe to base the performance model on).

My biggest curiosity right now is how high that engine revs. Ford currently has the darling 5L V8 due to the 7500RPM redline achieved by the now out-of-production Roadrunner engine. We don't know what they have in store yet for the successor. If Lexus can jump in with something close to 8000 RPM, I will be forced to put this car on my watch-list even though I have real reservations about driving an ostentatious Japanese sports coupe around the greater Detroit area. Pokémon styling be damned.
