BMW has learned a valuable less from De Beers this time around, trickle them out slowly and let demand fight over them. They didn't use this strategy with the last Ms early on and got caught with a bunch sitting around on lots and dealers had to offer deals to get them sold.
With current production, re this first wave, dealers are loading them up with options, north of $90k in some cases, and do to the low/slow numbers of production out of BMW, dealers will probably get some, trend setters I suspect, to pay full MSRP and in some extreme cases, even over.
