It can be done. My TE37 sagas had that rear offset. I was lowered pretty low too and never had any rubbing. But the widest tire I could go without rubbing when lowered was 285. In my opinion, it looks good, but it's like 5mm too aggressive. However I believe the M4 can handle a few more mm offset than the M3 due to the rear arch design.
