Yup, just as I imagined. Sounds like those annoying straightpiped S52 engines boy racers do to their E36 M3's. I hoped that the S55 would sound better with an aftermarket exhaust or even straightpiped, I'm still hoping that there will be a tuner out there that can make it sound good. The Akrapovic exhausts have always been on the tame side of sound as displayed in the above video. Let's see what Eisenmann, RPi, or Meistershaft can do. I still have hope.
