Ok just one more comment on that power curve differential graphic.
To me, that is the difference I would expect going from a 4.0 liter v8 to a ~5.0-5.5 liter v8, at least from 1500-7000rpms. I mean, assuming the same level of power output efficiency in the S65, you'd need a displacement increase of 20-40% to mimic that power curve.
I've been reading the constant bemoaning about peak power for so long that I've gotten a little nonplussed with the total output.
This graphic just got me giddy like a school boy again
