Others have said it, but it's worth reiterating: remind the service advisor that the oil and diff plugs
must be replaced. I told them ahead of time, reminded them that morning, but picked up the car without paying attention. Of course, when I got home I looked again and the diff plugs were not on the list.
Called, was told I was wrong -- "my most experienced tech worked on it". Gave them the part number from this thread and gently suggested they check again
. Response was "oh, this is different than other cars and yours is the first one we serviced". Even better, they increased the tire pressure from 32 cold to 42R/38F. Seems like a good time for them to check ahead of time, no? Amazing.
All is well, but wastes another two hours for no reason.
