One point to consider is that the US has been blessed with the most inexpensive M3s on the world market. Just north of the border, we had to pay $10-$15k more than in the US. Compromises have to be made to keep that price down. Hopefully, as a minimum, we (North-America) will be able to get as an option what is available in Europe.
