Yes, that's why that info in bunk-tastic.
Same marketing philosophy keeps an S63 out of the M3/4 as well. They aren't going to give the M2 the same engine as the larger sibling. Bet on a (very advanced) I4 turbo.
Even with that in mind, I am still more interested in that car than the next M3.
