In co-ordination with the launch of the 2-series in the form of an online reveal (see #7 on our list), the M235i was shown in a private event, and pictures from the live event got onto the web mere hours before the official launch. This thread stayed strong despite the plethora of studio photos, because live pictures helped give fans and future owners a live prespective on the car and its proportions

As you will come to see, the theme for 2013 was certainly M3 and M4. And our forum members will their amazing photoshopping abilities played a vital role in developing our understand of the car ahead of the full reveal. Looking back at this photoshop from late January of 2013, the accuracy of the photoshop render is truly outstanding. The quality and realism of the work are what really made this photoshop stand out from the rest.

8. This is the BMW 4 Series Coupe (F32) in Production Form and Fully Revealed!
This happened alot in 2013, and we loved 2013 for it. The production 4-series was caught ahead of the expected online reveal of the car during its photoshoot by a spy photographer. Not only were the pictures of remarkable clarity (given the conditions) but also showed off the car in various angles. The unexpectedness and quality of the pictures shot the thread up to a solid #8 spot, fairly quickly.

The new small sports coupe from BMW was fully unleashed onto the world in late October, only giving it 2 months to jump to the #7 spot on our most viewed list for 2013, mostly on the back of the rabbid BMW enthusiasts who talked up a storm!

6. BMW 4-Series Coupe (F32)
The always successful coupe analog to the 3-Series sedan, now carrying the 4-series moniker slotted in at #6 on the list. While most of us bimmerphiles could guess what the car would look like (based on the 3-series and spyphotos), the stunning beauty of the car proved to be a huge draw once all the masking tape came off.

5. 2015 BMW M3 (F80) Official Specs, Wallpapers, Videos, Photos, Info
When the production versions of the M3 and M4 were unleashed onto the web, activity soared. Because the pictures were leaked early, activity did not soar into the top 3, the car was still able to garner a very resectable #5 spot for the year, still very impressive given the pictures had been already seen a few times over!

When taken together, the M3 and M4 dominated Bimmerpost this year. But it was the original BMW M4 Coupe Concept that shattered all the records this year. While this was a precursor to the production car reveal, the concept represented the very first time the online world had the opportunity to see the car and we were lucky enough to join BMW at the reveal in Pebble Beach.
The M4 Coupe Concept thread came in with the highest number of views for all of 2013 (335,000+) and the 2nd highest number of comments (1151)
