If history is any indication, F82 will be ~25 pounds lighter or so. Maybe a couple of pounds more to account for the lighter CF bootlid that it has.

If I understand the whole saga correctly, 1497kg is the base car with CCB, all fluids and no driver. Essentially the lowest possible figure out of the showrrom.

On the the F8X, the 19"s could also end up being the lighter option. We will have to wait and see... |

right. but 1520kg is 3362 right? and plus 40 for no ceramic brakes is 3402? the m4 would be 52 lbs lighter? I prefer the sedan.
true for sure. I just don't like the way the 19s look haha

The battery in a normal BMW or Audi weighs about 65 pounds. You can put in a lightweight battery made out of lithium ion for about $1800, and it only weighs 9 pounds. It's unclear if they slimmed it down for this car, but it's full of electronics so I doubt it.

Been there done that. I tried one that weighed about 20 lbs in my car. Total disaster. I was warned, tried it anyway and will likely never bother again.
