Actually internally it is known the CRT is faster and are you so sure about the weight?

Quoted figures pin the CRT at ~100lbs. ligher than stock, whereas the GTS is closer to ~200lbs.+ lighter than stock, no?

Ok, please no guesses when there are facts. Weights of M3 E90/E92 are with DCT and standard equipement, no options. Compared to the GTS, the CRT has A/C and Navi and H/E soundsystem and many other things.

M3 E90 : 1625 kg (DIN)
M3 E92 : 1600 kg (DIN)
M3 CRT : 1580 kg (DIN) (-45 kg compared to standard M3 E90, if you get had the M3 CRT in standard trim it would be 70 kg lighter, so at 1555 kg)
M3 GTS : 1530 kg (DIN) (-70 kg compared to M3 E92)

Conclusion: Seing how much weight the M3 CRT lost, without losing in gadgets, imagine what how light the car would be if it used both GTSrear seats and CRT weight savings, instead of roll-cage, lightweight.

In my admission stands in weight for the E90-M3 1700 Kg!

However, when the new dashboard, the center tunnel, the rear seat and parcel shelf made of carbon will be.
Furthermore alleged to have been saved 40 kg of weight in the chassis alone (about 10 kg per wheel). Now I do not know if it was normal to expect the M3 series, or on the later available ceramic brakes.

1625 kg (DIN) + 75 kg = 1700 kg (EU)
