HUD?

Question for my fellow F80 mavens: any sign that the new M3 will have HUD? The version in my new 335i is very good (in Corvette: awesome). Thanks.

It will feature the M version of the HUD- Adds a tach etc.

Since they added HUD to the new 3-er it would be a huge surprise for the new M not to get it. And if it does, it will for sure get the M-specific HUD with revs et al. It's the only thing I really miss from the M5.

I've had a confirmation from my dealer. His explanation relates to what options the base series model have, usually M Division take all of the high tech options and include these as standard.

Confirmed further since the M5s were released with a ///M Hud, and now that the 3 series also have a HUD option, that we're likely to see the same in the M3/M4.

Had a chance to drive the new 5-M and look at its HUD. Wow!

Saw the M3 mule at the M Studio on the 4th during the M5 launch event. Don't remember seeing the HUD, but the engineers specifically talked about working with the base cars core components/electronics. Now that the base 3 has HUD, they have the ability to add and use on the M3. I would Beverly shocked if it didn't have a similar HUD to the M5.

Looking at it pretty hard...

Best HUD I've seen is the one in the new M5. Wow! Second best is Corvette's. Would settle for either.
