Sad to say i agree. Looks bloated and fat like an Audi s5. IMHO the f80 sedan render looks better, with the extra size the 4 doors actually help to break it up. Also, I still really struggle with the hood line, but the answer to that is a dark colour I guess. I'm sure it will be amazing on paper and to drive, but it doesn't inspire me like the current M3.

I'm more interested in how the back is gonna look. Interior and instrument cluster are also important to me.

Render looks good though! Obviously some people are gonna complain - can't make everyone happy!

Well... X5 is going to have the same treatment as the current 3er... I wouldn't be surprised that the 4er will follow the same design trend. Well... I hate it.

Butterface! That nose is just a mess. From the nose back I'm a big fan. Love the 1M style massive fenders...seriously wish they had done more of that on the F10 M5.

The 5er LCI looks promising.. It may be the answer to that soft face.

Maybe the whole headlight-connected-to-grill is a sedan think only?
